The Governor and First Lady encourage state employees to sign up for blood drives in Frankfort and remind them that they can receive up to four (4) hours of Blood Donation Leave (must be requested in advance). The Governor and First Lady will be hosting a blood drive in Frankfort on Thursday, February 12, 2026, to support disaster preparedness and help Kentuckians suffering from life-threatening illnesses and injuries.
Please sign up here for appointments from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST at the Kentucky Personnel Cabinet (501 High Street) or 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. EST at the Mayo-Underwood Building (500 Mero St.).
