KENTUCKY GOVERNORAndy Beshear

Andy Beshear grew up in Fayette, Franklin, and Clark counties and graduated from Henry Clay High School. He is the son of Steve and Jane Beshear, the 61st Governor and first lady. Along the way, they instilled in Andy the teachings of Andy’s grandfather, a Baptist minister from Dawson Springs, Kentucky, including the values of family, faith, and public service.

Public service was a way of life for Jacqueline and her family. As a fifth-generation Mercer Countian, Jacqueline was raised to offer a hand up to those in need and, as a result, she has devoted her personal and professional life to serving her community. She is a tireless advocate for public education and a strong proponent of young women stepping into leadership roles.

FIRST LADYBritainy Beshear

A long-time community volunteer and advocate for some of Kentucky’s most vulnerable children. While always a mother to Will and Lila first, she chooses to use her additional time to help Kentucky’s families and children. She served on the board of directors for Maryhurst from 2013 to 2019, which provides help and hope for abused and neglected young women and girls.
